Wellness in the Schools (WITS)

Wellness in the Schools partners with the PS007M Samuel Stern School as part of the implementation of the Cook for Kids program in NYC public schools. In the Cook for Kids program, WITS Chefs and trained culinary graduates work with schools to transform the cafeteria menu, train staff and provide nutrition education to students through tastings, salad bar promotion, and lab culinary classes. Our long-term goal is to teach children healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Attached you will find photographs of former lab classes and workshop participation. Visit us here
