ABC Crisis Team

For four decades, Association to Benefit Children (ABC) has strived to be a champion for all children. ABC offers a wide range of programming and mental health services to children including the School Response Team (SRT), which operates in 5 different schools across Manhattan including PS7. With an awareness that emotional health is just as important as physical health and connected to academic achievement, our bilingual team assists parents and school faculty in responding to the social and emotional struggles of the school’s students.

The SRT provides various services at PS7 including class observation, assessment, service coordination, crisis intervention, prevention activities, staff consultation and staff and parent training. We can also refer students and families to community-based resources.
